Chrysler recalls older-model Jeep SUVs over airbag issue

Due to a scary and dangerous flaw where air bags are inflating while driving, Chrysler will be notifying owners of 2002 – 2004 model year Jeep Liberty owners and 2002 – 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee owners in January to arrange free repairs for these vehicles. While this problem hasn’t been associated with any crashes, but has caused minor injuries and could cause a serious wreck.
