Recall 3 - Corvette

Thursday, May 15, 2014 | General Motors announces five new recalls affecting another 3 million vehicles in the U.S.

The Issue
GM says when the engine is warm, an electrical housing can expand and bend a wire, causing it to fracture and disable low-beam headlights.

Affected Vehicles
Nearly 112,000 cars in the U.S. are affected, including:

  1. 2005-2007 Chevrolet Corvette

GM will also repair affected 2008-2013 Corvettes through its Customer Satisfaction Program.

If Your Vehicle is Affected
GM will notify owners, but in the meantime, contact your dealer or call Chevrolet at 800-222-1020 with any questions.

The Fix
Dealers will replace the faulty parts for free.
