General Motors Recalls 19,000 Cadillac CTS Sports Sedans

Recall 5 - Cadillac

Thursday, May 15, 2014 | General Motors announces five new recalls affecting another 3 million vehicles in the U.S.

The Issue
Windshield wipers can fail after the cars are jump-started and the wipers are stuck by ice and snow. Potential lack of visibility could increase the risk of a crash.

Affected Vehicles
About 19,000 cars in the U.S. are affected, including:

  1. 2013-2014 Cadillac CTS sports sedans

If Your Vehicle is Affected
GM will notify owners, but if the wipers on your vehicle are inoperable, bring the car to your dealer immediately. Owners can contact your dealer or call Cadillac at 800-333-4223 with questions.

The Fix
GM will replace the front wiper module on affected vehicles for free.

*If your vehicle is affected by this recall, please contact your local dealer to arrange a service appointment. *
