Dealers jump on Black Friday bandwagon with success
Car companies in early December reported the industry’s best November sales pace in years, as car buyers “took advantage of low interest rates and holiday promotions on new vehicles,” the Times reported.
Ironically, the nation’s retailers, armed with doorbusters and early bird specials, reported a more disappointing Black Friday, as weekend sales slid roughly 11 percent from a year ago, according to numbers from the National Retail Federation.
Beyond Black Friday, sales of new cars and trucks have grown steadily throughout 2014.
