The 2015 Hyundai Genesis represents a bold step forward for Hyundai. Additions include a generous suite of standard safety and convenience features. For the first time in a Hyundai sedan, a sophisticated AWD system is offered, known as HTRAC.

The 2015 Genesis expresses a modern design through distinctive exterior styling with a sleek, upscale appearance. The design features a striking hexagonal front grille as a key geometric element, a dynamic crease accent running along the flanks of the car, and a dynamic rear design. Proportions demonstrate a long dash-to-axle length, longer wheelbase and shorter overhangs, conveying the performance rear-drive configuration beneath the sheet metal.

Genesis displays ultra-precise fit and finish, with ergonomic seat design and a generous, natural feel. A new design pattern decreases interior reflections and brighten dashboard surfaces.

The 2015 Genesis is offered with a choice of rear-wheel-drive or new HTRAC All-Wheel-Drive configurations. The new HTRAC AWD system was developed as a multi-mode system, providing an electronic, variable-torque-split clutch with active torque control between the front and rear axles.

The Tau V-8 engine has been named to Ward’s prestigious Ten Best Engines list three times. The Genesis 3.8-liter Lambda engine is also optimized to deliver a flatter overall torque curve at low rpm for enhanced drivability, producing 311 horsepower. All engines are coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Base model estimated miles per gallon: TBD. Estimated starting price: TBA. To shop for Genesis models, click here.
