  • Share Your Love Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE CHANCES OF WINNING. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries timely received by Sponsor (CarSoup of Minnesota, Inc.). Contest begins at 12:01am (CT) on January 27th and ends at 11:59pm (CT) on February 19th 2016 (the “Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: Open and offered only to persons who are legal residents of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, 18 years of age and older when Contest begins. Void where prohibited. Employees and directors of CarSoup of Minnesota, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and its parent entities, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies, Web masters and Web suppliers (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter the Contest by posting your “Share Your Love” story to the Facebook page and then sharing on Facebook and/or Tweeting your story via Twitter. Entries must be received and posted no later than 11:59pm (CT) on February 18, 2016. Sponsor’s computer will be the official time clock for the Contest. Any attempt at entry other than as described herein will be void.

Entries made with multiple e-mail addresses, multiple accounts, under multiple identities or through the use of any agent or other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be deemed invalid. All required information must be completed to enter and to be eligible to win. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Proof of entering information at the website is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor of such entry. Participants must provide a valid email address to be eligible. In the event of a dispute regarding the individual who actually submitted an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address supplied at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the applicable email address has been assigned by the Internet Access Provider (“IAP”), online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the address submitted. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible. Sponsor, its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, participating retailers and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for delayed, deleted, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, undeliverable, or destroyed entries; or for the incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the applicable website, or by equipment or programming used in this Contest, printing, human processing or other error or omission; or for any error, interruption or unavailable network, server, satellite, IAP, website, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed computer, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or other technical failure; or for jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or for any other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or network. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned.

Entries are null and void and will be rejected if not made in accordance with these rules. Any use of micro, automatic, programmed, robotic, or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and participants using such methods will be disqualified. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Contest, and select winners from Internet entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.

DRAWING: Winner will be determined based on analysis by Unmetric and will be based on their determination of social media impact. Sponsor will determine the winner on February 18, 2016 by 11:59pm (CT).  One entry will chosen. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Winner (subject to verification of eligibility, a “Winner”) will be notified by e-mail and/social media messages from the spokespeople or telephone if number is provided within 1 day of the drawing.  In the event the Winner does not respond to the e-mail notification or telephone message sent by Sponsor within three (3) days of the date the notification is sent, the Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate Winner may be determined from among the remaining eligible entries timely received by Sponsor.

PRIZES/ODDS: Two (2) tickets to the Minnesota Wild/New York Islanders game on Feb. 23, 2016. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $XXX.

Any other prize details will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer his or her Prize, or redeem the Prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize with a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable in whole or in part for any reason.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Participants agree (a) to abide by these rules and all decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects relating to this Contest; (b) that they are in compliance with these Official Rules, and will comply in all respects with these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations; (c) that the Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participant against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize, products purchased using any prize, or participation in this Contest or any Contest related activity; or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize via entry forms, posters or any other media; (d) that Winner is required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility or other such documentation as Sponsor may require to verify Winner’s eligibility and a Liability Release, and that if documents are not returned on a timely basis, or if Winner is found to be ineligible, or not in compliance with these Official Rules, his or her prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner; (e) except where legally prohibited, to grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission for the Released Parties and those acting under their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising, trade and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet, without notice, review or approval; (f) that the Released Parties may collect the personal information submitted by participants, and use the information for sales and marketing purposes, and that participants will be deemed to have opted-in to the e-mail database for Sponsor; (g) if no alternate winner can be selected for any reason in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and will not be awarded to any Contest participant; (h) Sponsor may disqualify anyone from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such person is attempting to undermine, tamper with, or abuse any aspect of the Contest, by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor’s representatives and Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such participant’s eligibility; and (i) Sponsor reserves the right to alter any rules of any contest at anytime. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
